Bio

Jo qualified in 2015 from St George's University In London and registered with the Health Care Professional council and Chartered Society of Physiotherapy. Jo has vast experience within the NHS sector working as a rotational physiotherapist within stroke, elderly care, Intensive care, Orthopaedics and Musculoskeletal settings. She worked her way up to a senior level before taking the jump to the private sector.


For the past 7 years working within the private sector, Jo mainly treats pre- and post-operative Orthopaedic patients and Musculoskeletal Injuries. Jo's regularly attended CPD training and courses including shoulder assessments, taping, red flags and spinal assessments, electrotherapy, and strength & conditioning to keep up with the most recent knowledge around rehabilitation to help her patients return to their goals.

Experience

Prior to working in private healthcare, Jo has worked as a sports massage therapist and also ran hydrotherapy classes for patients to exercise within the water to manage their conditions. She has experience working with semi-professional football clubs treating injuries, massage, taping & rehabilitation to help players return to being match fit. Jo has been involved in treating a wide caseload and setting up post-operative classes. Her comprehensive training across multiple physiotherapy disciplines allows her to provide a holistic approach to patient care and rehabilitation. In her spare time, Jo has a young family of boys which keep her active along with her interest of the gym and travelling.
